Additional Work

Outside of my bylines and editorial work at The Red & Black and Grady Newsource, I built up a collection of other work during my time at UGA. It spans from marketing work with the UGA Gymnastics team for the New Media Institute to critical writing pieces on movies and tv shows.

The GymDog Experience

For my capstone project with the New Media Institute, I was assigned along with four other classmates to work on an augmented reality project for the UGA Gymnastics program. We coordinated with our professors, the creative services and social media team for the GymDogs, and various gymnasts to actualize our shared vision.

I contributed to our project in multiple capacities. I read and edited all copy in our deliverables and wrote a vast majority of them as well. I played a key role in the exploratory research and presented it to our group. My research informed our creative decisions for the project. Additionally, I played my part in the strategic planning and management of our project. My duties extended to whatever our group needed throughout the semester.
